Demoness Lilith
Lilith, a demoness with borderline personality disorder – that is how she appears to us from the lofty heights of the first decade of the third millennium, an era in which every fourth person attempts to relax by consuming pills from the ever-expanding Prozac family. From a psycho-pathological prism, Lilith suffers from a pattern of behavioral, emotional and cognitive imbalance. Her emotional responses are too intense, too unstable, and inappropriate within the cultural reality. She is impulsive and suffers from outbursts of rage, anxiety and agitation. She lays waste to her relationships due to her unforeseeable emotional fluctuations and cognitive inconsistency. A psychiatrist from the year 2010 would claim that Lilith develops chaotic relationships and suffers from the absence of a sexual identity. Even with the use of chemicals it is difficult to normalize her.
Had Lilith been dominant during the 60's of the second millennium, she would have been observed from a feminist sexist angle, just as her counterpart, Jeanne Moreau in François Truffaut's "The Bride Wears Black", had been. This particular Lilith is diagnosed as a Femme Fatale personality; she is a sexy and sensual character, mysterious and fatal and most importantly, vengeful. Her power lies in her ability to emotionally enslave her lover and bring about his death. Her actions and intentions are unconscientious and amoral, and she makes a direct tie between erotica and death. What is more, as a femme fatale, Lilith harbors an inexhaustible sexual appetite that knows no satiation.

Jewish Lilith begins her journey as a pale desert demoness, primal and one-dimensional. The demonic essence is roughly imprinted in her as a spine upon which a crystallized character will eventually develop. Lilith materializes and dematerializes across the timeline in many shapes and sizes. Her unique style is influenced by various cultural encounters and geographical locations. Her character adjusts itself to new cosmoses and to the different traditions which host her. Despite the variations, renovations and disguises, Lilith stays true to her initial primal essence and absorbs the fundamental aspects of her new community. In every era and community, Lilith is enlisted for a different purpose, as part of the creation of a framework for upholding norms of desirable behavior. Lilith continues to grow; her image is updated, consolidated, and once again disintegrated. And yet, the fetal primeval design remains the same.
The first chapter of the demoness Jewish Lilith's biography begins in the 3rd Century BC and ends at the close of the 7th Century AD. In this book, I will attempt to expose Lilith's initial nature as well as her first steps into Judaism.
