Lilith acording to Ben-Sira
The height of Lilith's success as a superstar occurred in the Medieval Ages, in the latter part of the 8th century AD, when Ben Sira, playing the talented agent, marketed her using every method at his disposal. In the legend of "Lilith and The Amulet ", Lilith conquers the highest possible status and reinforces her position in myth, as wife of Adam : the first Eve – The first feminist.
As a prehistoric spouse, Lilith erupted onto the pages of Jewish history as a flesh and blood woman but for a moment, before immediately transforming and returning to her initial demonic state as mother of the entire demon race. In the words of Ben Sira:
"…. Adam and Lilith began to fight. She said, 'I will not lie below,' and he said, 'I will not lie beneath you, but only on top. For you are fit only to be in the bottom position, while am to be in the superior one.' Lilith responded, 'We are equal to each other as we were both created from the earth.' But they would not listen to one another. When Lilith saw this, she pronounced the Ineffable Name and flew away into the air…"
Lilith abandons the first man on grounds of incompatibility. She manages to escape and fly away, not with the use of demonic wings, but quite surprisingly, using the magical power of the knowledge of God's real name. This esoteric knowledge rests in the hands of a select and exclusive group of aristocratic elite Rabbis.
First man, upon finding himself lonely once again, complained to God:
"My help-mate has abandoned me"
God sent the angels Snvi, Snsnvi and Smnglof to reclaim the rebel, but it was too late. Lilith had turned into a demoness and seemed all too pleased about it.
